The association will offer a slate of training courses for sawing and drilling operators November 5-10, 2012 at St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, Florida. Three courses will be offered, and students can choose to attend the class that best suits their needs or expand their knowledge in all sawing and drilling disciplines by taking all three. Courses offered include Slab Sawing & Drilling 201, Wall Sawing 201 and Wire Sawing 201. Each session offers both classroom and hands-on training from experienced and knowledgeable CSDA instructors. For more information, or to sign up for these classes, View the 2012-2013 Training Brochure or visit our Training Page.
Also note the newly-launched Cutting Edge course is available online, 24/7 at www.csdatraining.com. This course acts as a prerequisite for the 201 Operator Certification courses and can be taken at home or at the office when convenient for the operator.
New Membership Categories Introduced
In its continued effort to serve an ever-changing industry, CSDA has once again broken the mold. Two new membership categories have been introduced that will allow the association to cater to the needs of those who offer concrete polishing and ground penetrating radar (GPR) imaging services. Many CSDA members have embraced technological advancements and added services to expand their sawing and drilling operations into full-service companies. Some have even created separate divisions or businesses. Now, with these new member categories, CSDA is well placed to represent those who offer these specific services.
The two new categories—Polishing Contractor and GPR Imaging Contractor—have been added to the CSDA Membership Application Form and website, and are available for contractors with immediate effect. If you know of any contractors who specialize in these areas and may be interested in joining CSDA, have them call 727-577-5004 or email email@example.com.

2013 Convention and Tech Fair Registration Opening Soon
What better place to get away from it all and concentrate on making your business thrive than the beautiful Florida Keys? Join the Concrete Sawing & Drilling Association near the Southernmost Point of the Continental U.S. for the 41st Annual CSDA Convention and Tech Fair. The event will be held at Hawks Cay Island Resort on Duck Key, Florida from February 28 to March 2, 2013, and preceded by two days of Board and committee meetings. These villas are separate from the main hotel building, but still close to all resort amenities. Some are located on the water with boat docks.
