Wire Sawing 101 is taught by experts with real-world experience, enabling students to have both time in the classroom and time on the slab. The course is geared to both newly hired operators and anyone wishing to expand their knowledge of wire sawing basics. Students will gain proficiency and productivity in all aspects of wire sawing.
Who Should Attend?
- Newly hired operators as well as anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of wire sawing basics.
- Basic introduction of types of wire saws, drive systems and diamond wire beads including their applications and components
- Diamond wire selection
- How diamonds work in wire sawing
- Classroom and hands-on training regarding set-up, operation, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Safe work practices
CSDA Members $785
Fee covers three days of instruction, from 8 AM – 5 PM, all classroom materials, handbooks and a CSDA operator’s field kit that includes a CSDA Safety Handbook, Pocket Reference Guide, blade speed calculator, ruler, diamond card and 10x magnifier. The fee also includes daily continental breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Students are responsible for their own lodging, transportation and evening meals.
