CSDA Partners with Concrete Decor Show

St. Petersburg, FL – The Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association (CSDA) is pleased to announce its partnership with the 2015 Concrete Décor Show, scheduled for September 28 - October 2 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Both organizations are stewards of the decorative and architectural concrete industry, and share a common goal of educating and training concrete professionals to exemplify the industry’s best.

Now in its sixth year, the Concrete Décor Show is the only trade show focused exclusively on the fast-growing residential and commercial decorative concrete market. It offers construction professionals the unique opportunity to connect with the best in decorative concrete.

As part of its partnership, CSDA has scheduled a certification class focused on industry Standard CSDA-ST-115 Measuring Concrete Micro Surface Texture during the show. Demand for ST-115 Certification has been high since the first class was held in December 2014 and the association expects a sold out class in Indianapolis. The class is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30 and participants can register directly through the Concrete Décor Show website.

“The introduction of the ST-115 Standard has been a real game-changer with a growing number of architects, engineers and key decision-makers realizing the value of adopting its methods for their project specifications,” says CSDA Executive Director Patrick O’Brien. “The association is pleased to partner with the Concrete Décor Show and is looking forward to a successful event.”

Concrete Décor Show attendees include manufacturers, design professionals, distributors/suppliers, resellers and retailers in addition to contractors. The show features an intimate, unique, highly informative environment that covers the full range of decorative concrete construction, including design, specification, preparation, placement, finishing, repair, resurfacing and maintenance of concrete. The Concrete Décor Show also highlights decorative concrete product applications like precast, cast-in-place, coatings, finishes, flooring, countertops, landscape, pool and vertical applications.

Bent Mikkelsen, the show’s event producer, says, “Decorative and architectural concrete’s high visibility use and full acceptance within the design-and-build community reinforces our commitment to best-in-class education and training. Partners like CSDA help strengthen the industry’s ability to cultivate talent and expertise. We’re excited to have CSDA’s support at the 2015 Concrete Décor Show.”
